The Institute for Viral Pathogenesis has licensed the HHV-6 and
EBV Nested PCR technologies to Wisconsin Viral Research
Group, a
CLIA certified, medical diagnostic laboratory. Under this agreement,
following completion of the diagnostic tests on samples submitted
for viral testing, the remainder of the patient specimen will be
cataloged and frozen, and will be made available for future IVP
research studies.
Also, 25% of all diagnostic test revenues will be donated to IVP
to support its research programs.
